Brighton Watersports

Kings Rd, Brighton BN1 1NB, UK – 01273 323160

Great paddle boards for good fun and some exercise also

Really great staff working here. I was completely new to paddle boarding, the gentleman who set me up gave me clear instructions and by the end of my session I was able to stand, albeit briefly, twice. I would definitely return when I visit Brighton in the future. The prices are very good too, if I'd have had the time during my stay I would have paid for another session!

BEKS Kitesurfing Lessons

108 Springfield Rd, Brighton BN1 6DE, UK – 07769 535724

I was able to progress fast with Chris, great instructor and would really recommend. The locations were also excellent: first day a large open field to get used to the kite and safety procedures, and then onto a sandy beach with sparse groynes which was also flat so that you could stand up quite far out. I found the waterproof radios a great help as I was able to receive advice even after having travelled quite far!

Chris is a patient and competent teacher. Really enjoyed my lesson with Beks kitesurfing.

STA Travel

Spent 5 hours here on a Saturday and managed to book 6 months worth of travel round the world. Very good service. We were there long after closing time and the service was just as if we had just walked through the door at the beginning of the day. Excellent and would highly recommend.

Great expertise, very friendly, helpful staff. Good knowledge of places to see, things to do. Flights were matched to cheapest we had found, we booked a trip to Asia for a family of 5. They have even offered to help us plan our itineraries from their expert team. Accommodation, internal flights and train travel can all be personalised to your own requirements.

Wow, where to start. These guys are without doubt the best in the market for a life time, memory making trip to Latin America or Spain. Its the in-depth local knowledge and personal touches that make this company so special. You will see things many miss and experience things few have. Great memories!

Our trip to the Osa Peninsula was amazing. Expertly organised and great to be off the beaten track. Will definitely be back for more inspirational travel!

St Ann's Well Gardens

5 Furze Hill, Hove BN3 1NF, UK

Our favourite local park. So nice to lie out, or have a BBQ with friends. We always come here and love the palm tree area. There is big playground for kids, a cafe open in the summer, a ping pong table, tennis court, & garden for the blind. We love it here.

Had a wonderful time at St Ann's Well Gardens. The festival last weekend was a great venue and the weather was ok too. It's a garden in the middle of the city that you just don't think exists. Beautiful place.

Victoria Gardens

12a Marlborough Pl, Brighton BN1 1WN, UK

Lovely and peaceful. Love to waterfall feature very therapeutic. Nice apart from seagulls wanting to have the food my friend was eating.

Beautiful gardens very accessible! Really nice to take a walk around here during the summer and and definitely a good place to relax on the grass in front of the pavilion :)

Great website!. Click below to find gardens open during the year around Brighton or Sussex. There are photos and lots of detail about the garden.

The Regency Town House

13 Brunswick Square, Hove BN3 1EH, UK – 01273 206306

The love and enthusiasm behind the hard and contentious work is to be applauded. This is an amazing project that is capturing the spirit and the detail of a large 1830s town house. Well worth a tour and well worth supporting their endeavours.

A rare gem in a sea of Brightons & Hoves history. Its one of a kind and definitely worth a visit.
