I visited Bellerophone looking for pieces to furnish my new home and the shop offered exactly what I was looking for! There was a large choice of both contemporary and traditional antiques to browse through, all of which could be easily imagined in any stylish home. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for unique furniture!

I popped into R J’s Hair & Beauty on the off chance they had a free slot and lucky for me they did! Natalie was friendly, listened to what I was trying to achieve with a haircut and gave great advice and reasons for her comments. The whole salon was buzzing but at the same time had a relaxed/community feel, and I loved the little individual bottles of water. I would not hesitate to go back or recommend to a friend, as I left with a real spring in my step! Thank you :)

I and my daughter get our hair done with lovely Rachel and Claudia. All staff make us feel welcome and comfortable. They explain the whole process and what the expected outcome will be. My daughter struggles and Claudia is always very patient and understanding, putting SydnrSat ease. Would highly recommend . 😍

Love this place. I always visit when I’m in Brighton. I live in London and sometimes just go to Brighton so I can visit Powder. Very friendly staff - beautiful interior - excellent prices - the best waxing, manicure & pedicure ever. Plus a lovely lady did my sister in laws wedding make up beautifully.

This really is a great branch of a great store. I spend ages in here. The people who work here are friendly and helpful. I like the way they lay the books out with little cards telling you more. Tables of popular books along with regular shelves. There is a good coffee shop inside. The travel section is pretty good. Definitely worth a visit.

Difficult to find when you are visiting Brighton for the first time. It gives a peace of mind before you go to see some attractions-the pier, British Airways i360, beach, Sealife, Zip line etc.

Literally just off of the main strip which means that it is super close to the main attractions amd shopping area. The only downside is that the prices are fairly steep. Expect to pay £20 for a day parking, hwnce the 3* review.

My #1 Go To "advisors" when I need new TV or audio kit. I was sold on this company the very 1st time I called in for advice and to buy. The sales guy cut back my spend budget on the basis that I could meet my needs with less spend (most other outlets would have happily gone to my budget limit ... not these guys, that is my experience). Have gone back to different locations over the years and have ALWAYS enjoyed the buying experience through them ... that is very important to me. I'm the sort if guy that is open to getting bitten (just the once) but these guys have my absolute trust and have always delivered. Also their "Price Match" promise is for real. They refunded a difference to me when I found an obscure site that was currently offering a better price on the TV I bought from them. Enjoy taking advice and buying from Richer Sounds ... I have always.

Very knowledgeable but give them plenty of notice for home cinema demos Edit- it has been 2 weeks since they said they were going to get 2 projectors in to dem for me. I spent £4k elsewhere. Dropped them 2 stars

I was served by Ross when I had a wicker basket fitted to my bike. I also asked to be shown how to use my complicated bike pump correctly which Ross gave me very clear instructions. I was blown away by the level of customer service in this store from all of the staff but especially Ross. I did have to wait a little time which Ross apologised about so maybe Halfords should Emily one or two more of these exceptionally polite and helpful young people. 10/10 in all areas...I left the store a very happy customer.

One of the top UK music retailers. If in Brighton you should have a look. Not much second hand but oodles of current toys. If you don't rely on the staff for psychoanalysis they will help you with music products just fine. Praise to: Dan, Chris, Charlie, Nathan, Denis, Mike and Jamie (not all men although it sounds that way!) The people in the shop are way more charming than the managers you see in their YouTube videos. Please let Mike do bass vids and let Dan go to NAMM instead.

Had a loud clanking sound coming from my 207 engine. My local garage couldn't diagnose problem and wanted 500 quid to take engine apart to see what was wrong. Everything seemed to suggest it was not cost effective to repair given the car's age . Took it to this dealer and they identified the problem within hours. The fix was not cheap but given the value of car and its condiion worth it. Update: Fixed car to my satisfaction. No complaints with service.

Honest service with great staff. The only gripe would be a service and mot that takes till 5.30 to get done when dropped of at 8.30 when you are waiting around in town . However this is quite standard at dealers.

High praise for the after sales support from Harwoods Jaguar in Hove. Something got onto the front bumper paintwork shortly after receiving the new vehicle which looked like a chemical and was not easy to remove via a normal jetwash/car cleaning. They took my concerns seriously and sorted this on a complimentary basis. It's now back to new condition. Very professional and efficient service department, who know their stuff.

I am the owner of a second hand Evoque, which had a few issues. Due to the age and mileage of my vehicle, I was tempted to go down the route of a non land-rover garage for my repairs.. I’m glad I didn’t as my experience at Jaguar Landrover Hove has been exceptional. I had excellent communication, prompt collection and delivery and I was kept informed of the progress of my vehicle at all times..The After Sales Manager at Hove certainly has his finger on the pulse with this dealership....... I will continue having my Evoque looked after by them without a doubt

Like many other petrol stations the majority of the staff have English as the second language. Whilst sometimes this can make communication more challenging, they are all friendly and helpful. Clean and tidy shop, toilet recently refurbished and always maintained to a high standard. Costa coffee on site, also Rollover Hotdogs. A good service station to draw fuel from and get the essential convenience needs.

The usual Tesco/Esso petrol station. Generally the cheapest petrol in the area. A good selection of items as expected. Can sometimes be very busy due to the local college. Sometimes difficult to exit due to being right on a junction with traffic lights

Great place to get a new bike

Just bought a brand new Vstrom 1000. Carl was great. Took the demo bike out for a test ride .''' See you in a couple of hours, have fun" . Answered my thousands of questions. Cannot fault. Now had first service and still really impressed. Took bike in was offered another bike to use whilst mine was in.

On my first day (Sunday) in UK I got problems with my BMW R1100R. Monday morning I went to Chandlers in Brighton, spook to Dave and Alex. A couple of hours later the problem was found and new parts where ordered. Tuesday a 09:30 AM I got my bike back and It has been working perfect since. Visiting Dave and Alex at Chandlers was a very positive experience, they where friendly, understanding and extremely service minded. My best recommendations.

I said I do get emails but delete them, she said there is 25% off today so I searched through my emails and found an old out of date email, she said I can see you are part of the club so I'll apply the discount. As a fan of the online store I was so excited when I heard about the store opening in Brighton. I have to say I was not disappointed. The store is so beautiful, stocking the same wonderful brands I love. The staff are so helpful and clearly feel very passionate about the merchandise. An absolute pleasure shopping there!

Nice staff and good sale bargains but the lighting is ridiculous! The spotlights in the ceiling are so low and so bright that they blind you! Actually makes it difficult to see the clothes! 😂

Walking through the door of this place just makes everything feel better- it is ever so tranquil and full of beautiful things and warm, friendly staff. The service they offer is fantastic and very supportive. I have just had a dress made for my wedding by them and they have held my hand every step of the way and have made something that I was dreading ( I am a serious non dress wearer) into an experience that was pleasurable. Trust them- they clearly know what looks good and what doesn't!

Having just moved from another provider I can honestly say that the move to trident is one of the best decisions we have made as a business in recent times. I bought the hand drawn London map from them and it was a no-fuss experience. Website is easy to use, you can pay via Pay Pal OR credit card, everything is very clear and the pictures of people holding the print were useful to see how big they actually were. It's misleading to say open 24 hours. It's a window shop only, artworks are on the wall behind the "store" window. The main store is London based.

Exchanged a helmet I purchased from Evans online, I should of gone straight to the store in hindsight. The guys at the shop were more than helpful in sorting me out with a better fitting helmet and at a cheaper price than the original and also a trouble free exchange. Very friendly and helpful service.

Took grandson and bike to get it serviced, looked like it had been rescued from the trash, I was embarrassed to ask them to work on it Collected it today and it is as new, well almost - cleaned - few parts replaced - adjusted - and all for a great price. I used to use the shop years ago. Got his dad a racing bike and liked so much I got one for me too. Great Service.

Popped in to get some compost and decided to do a browse.. Big mistake as found the reduced plants for the garden.. Soon walked out a lot lighter.. Staff seemed ok and called several times to open up a till as existing one was building up rapidly. Had tills been open quicker would've given five stars but he failure let it down. All your heavy duty needs..

Faulty equipment, but they sorted it out straight away. Faults happen, nobody's fault. Sander kept cutting out, was unusable, made a phone call, discounted the price, and delivered a new item with an extra day free. Can't complain about that. Would have been bad if I was working for a paying customer as it delayed the job.

The lads here are awesome! I can’t rate them highly enough. I took on a project which needed a sander (or two!) and their help & advice was invaluable. They’re super friendly and really helped me out and I’m extremely grateful. Professional and courteous, I’d highly recommend them!

Living in Essex and needing to order funeral tributes in Brighton for my brother i chose to place the orders with Ginger Lily. Angela and her entire team were extremely patient, caring, understanding and handled absolutely everything with the upmost professionalism. Firstly the flower arrangement they created was amazing but more so the people at Ginger Lily are beautiful themselves. Angela was so very charming whilst helping me with flowers for my partner's funeral. She helped me to achieve an idea without pushing me to spend a fortune. A whole range of food: if you want choose from among a vast salad selection, have a big slab of veggie or meaty lasagne, or stick with the traditional English breakfast... It's all there. The prices are keen and the staff are friendly. This place is simply good, it does not have a inflated opinion of itself. What's not to like.

The Heart of Brighton. Came here when it first opened (1971). Great shop full of organic natural local goodness. Vegan/Vegetarian. Fresh fruit and veg. Terrific bakery and much much more. Over 60's get 10% off. Easy access. Knowledgeable friendly staff.

Staff know their stuff and are friendly even though the place is always busy. Great array of options. Try the vegan chelsea bun, you will not regret it! Less than £2, it's huge AND delicious.

Small but full of delicious food. Infinity Foods products. Natural, organic, fresh, and great curries. All things tasty.

An excellent shop for health food. The only annoyance is that it is a haven for Earth Mothers who like to congregate at the doorway to chat, leaving pushchairs in the way and leaving their children to run amok and 'express themselves'. But the shop itself is fantastic - if you can get in and get served under 20 minutes. If you find yourself behind someone from Muesli-Mountain dressed like a Tibetan Sherpa buying refills for organic gooseberry detergents and ylang-ylang floor cleaner, just come back later.

Great local grocer and health food shop. The bread they keep in stock is amazing. Do yourself a favour and grab the rosemary and sea salt sour dough. Now open Sunday as well which is great. They also have a good range of baby essentials.

Great service and very friendly staff. They fitted my wife's engagement ring at no extra cost, as they included it in the selling price, and they delivered it way before the promised time. And the work was of excellent quality. The ring is superb and it seems it will last a lifetime.

Amazing service. Staff was nice and helpful. They did make a mistake on my online order so if you ever order from online always just double check to see they get everything right otherwise you'll end up messing up a present or surprise or just something you want for yourself. The way customer services handled it was nice as well. They refunded money for the special packaging which was a really nice gesture.

I received a silver bangle with green crystals as a 21st birthday gift. It was originally bought from Eastbourne the day before but unfortunately my mum didn't notice the release button wasn't working. I took it in to the Brighton store (with receipt details) and the lovely ladies in the store were able to help me out there and then! Was so happy because it's going to be a really sentimental item. And their customer service skills were fantastic! Thank you again ladies. :)

Had a very enjoyable experience buying my new watch this Tuesday gone from Goldsmiths in Brighton. Was greeted with a beautiful smile & very easy warm approach by Elvira Everett. Really poor customer service except for the seller on the first floor - shoes section. There is a knowledge issue as they seem never been for an outdoor activity using equipment they sell. There’s a behaviour issue as well for customers that English is their second language. I decided stop spending money in this shop anymore as I need to feel happy when I go shopping my equipment.

What I like about "The pet shed" is not only do you get the custoner service expected from an independent retailer, you get a genuine warmth too. The pet shed have a wide range of specialist pet food and treats as well as wild bird feeders and many accessories in between. Hannah is approachable and do not be afraid to ask her if you don't see what you want in store. She'll endeavor to find it for you! Also in store is a wealth of pet people knowledge from vets to doggie fashion designers. Well worth a visit for a pampered pooch or moggy. Especially for an ice cream.

Super pet shop selling a huge range of things. So much nicer than a chain pet shop! Hannah's shop is FULL of carefully sourced, unusual supplies for pets. She gives excellent advice on the right food for your furry friend. There's so much in this shop that I don't see anywhere else. It's easily to park. She even delivers if needed. I can't fault the service. Please go for a look yourself!

Have visited here twice during half term with my young grandson, store was busy, but on both occasions staff were super helpful, very well stocked store with fair prices, will definitely visit again and highly recommend

The customer service had improved on my last visit. Two floors of sports clothes and equipment. Unfortunately, a lot of the stock is high up and you have to find someone to serve you as they need a giant pole to get an item down for you to look at. Can feel like a warehouse due to the piles on stock on the shop floor. Large range of trainers and some boxes/ brands on offer. Sports equipment tends to be upstairs.

excellent, really helpful. Found the right trainers for me for my style of running after my treadmill session. Very interesting to see how you run, highly recommend. No hard sell, felt very comfortable along with a great service.

Not very helpful customer service. Ended up getting a pair of trainers with a few markings and stains on them.

Feeling inspired after a long overdue office clear-out, I was determined to get a sizable office cabinet to stow away goods neatly so as to retain the pristine look. Visited the ODM Stationery and Office Furniture megastore at Hangleton (nearby The Grenadier) to see what they had and was fortunate to find a perfectly suited cabinet in-store, at a good price amongst their extensive range of office accessories. Best of all, it was delivered the next day! My office has never looked better - Thanks to Steve, Colin and the team at ODM.

Having set up an account with Steve's company, ODM, he has been extremely helpful with our product selection. Steve knows his product range inside out, which is pretty impressive, considering the 1000's of products listed!!

Good range of art supplies and crafts materials. Stuff for small children, stuff for school, as well as grown up stationery and art supplies. Lovely shop. Support it! So much nicer to see and feel what your buying than just clicking on Amazon.

Well slap my face with a kipper, i have as a rule always tried to use local traders. You get good advise and honest advise. except this place........ the sales team are bar far the friendliest bunch of people i have every purchased from. service was excellent, knowledge excellent, customer satisfaction excellent. I must of had a chat with every member of staff but mostly Jason how was a font of knowledge. but overall my hat goes off to the the store manager Ron, who has clearly trained his staff well. If you ever need anything electrical this is where you should come.

Great store. I chose an integrated dishwasher that didn’t fit (my fault) and Hills were very accommodating, helping me choose another model and performing second installation at no extra charge. Friendly service and their prices are as good as you can find on line. We should all support our local stores when we can.

Absolutely amazing in all ways. After having an issue with an online retailer. I called up hills to see if they had what I wanted in stock. They had it in stock £100 cheaper than Currys! They reserved it over the phone and could delivery it the same day. I popped in a paid the for appliance and they said they remove, install and deliver for free (this might be because I live really close so don't expect it always for free just in case). The 2 delivery guys turned up and within 10 minutes the old one was out, the new one in and test cycle done, he explained all the functions and how to use it etc. So I called at 10:30 and by 2pm I had a brand new washer dryer installed and removed the old one for £100 less than online. What more can you say! Sometimes online isn't always better. Seriously give these guys a go!

Very good for vegetarian curry with lots of choice and great authentic flavours. Impressed by their claim to be from the curry capital of the world Bradford! They carry that integrity through to their food and flavours and create some amazing dishes that are true to their roots. Shame they don't deliver, bit well worth a meal out.

We used Vamos Paella for our wedding in June and from the moment of our first enquiry through to the day itself, Melissa and her team were nothing short of amazing. Organising a wedding for so many people was a daunting prospect and getting the food just right was one of our top priorities but Melissa completely took away any stresses or anxiety we had. She always made herself available to answer questions we had and offered up so much additional help and advice along the way, from looking over our list of catering hires to recommending how much ice to buy in for the bar! Melissa also organised the waiting staff for us and they deserve a special mention too. Nothing was too big an ask for the team. Like Melissa, they all went above and beyond to ensure not only that everything ran smoothly but also that my husband and I had the best day possible. The menu Melissa designed was absolutely delicious. All the guests commented on how good the food was and my only regret is that I didn’t eat more! I would not hesitate to recommend Vamos Paella and we can’t thank Melissa and her team enough for helping make our wedding so so special.

Staff is amazing. The wine selection is great and the price really convenient. I highly recommend this shop.
