What is the role of IFA? Independent Financial Advisers should provide independent financial advice on your pensions savings, investments and equity release on your property if you need some cash later in life. The is an argument that everyone needs an IPA. They can become your personal 'go to' stockbroker and general financial fixer. That is why I would suggest they you find one in or around Brighton or at least within Sussex. I would not recommend one miles away or never answered the phone. Moreover,Stephen Gicquel,the MD there, very generously waived a fee that I had previously agreed to in view of a change of circumstances in my Pension Planning picture. Very slick experience from first contact to set up of our pension enrollment. I wouldn't normally write a review for a business such as this, but the review from Severin Severin is wrong on so many points as to be a complete fabrication from someone with an agenda...not to mention the sectarian/racist undertones I have been a tenant of Geneva for the last 15 years in 2 properties, both of which have been maintained to the highest possible standard by the company. Anything which needs fixing is fixed or replaced without delay...In my case, a fridge and cooker have been changed within 24 hours...without any ifs buts or maybe's. In regards to undesirable tenants....It would be practically impossible for a company with a folio as large as theirs to vet tenants as thoroughly as desirable, but I have first hand experience of troublesome tenants being removed as soon as is legally possible. In 15 years, I've had a fair amount of contact with the staff of Geneva, many of whom have been with the company as long as I have rented from them, and Severin Severins comments about them are laughable. I have no complaints about Geneva/Sussex Letting Shop, and would happily recommend .
